OUTDOORS FUN
Standing tall as the highest town in the mountains of North Carolina, Beech Mountain and the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountain are a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. In the winter months, avid skiers and snowboarders flock to our mountainside for an icy rush of fun. In the warmer summer months, mountain bikers can be seen taming rocky runs. Our mountaintop town is also ideal for those seeking a gentler adventure, too, regardless of the season. Nestled in our towering trees, you can connect with nature slowly, savoring the trickle of a stream or the chirp of a bird.
Get plenty of ideas below for the perfect vacation for any outdoors lover. Pro tip – visit us during the spring and fall to take advantage of slower crowds and adventure!
