With majestic views, quaint locations, and great weather for spring, summer, or fall weddings, many couples flock to Beech Mountain to be married. Whether you just need a location or want the entire event planned, you will be hard pressed to find a better spot for the day you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Beech Mountain Resort

Beech Mountain Resort has the ability to offer the whole package, from a ceremony at the top of the mountain accessed via chairlift, to an indoor wedding in the Alpine Village Lodge at the base of the slopes. The resort can provide wedding planning services, catering options, and music choices.

 With its variety of venues, Beech Mountain Resort can accommodate weddings of most any size, from a 400 guest lavish affair to a 75 guest intimate gathering.

 And for pre- and post-wedding celebrations, what better locale than the on-site Beech Mountain Brewing Company?

Land of Oz

Theme wedding, you say? For those who would like a unique twist, make a grand entrance on the Yellow Brick Road; small weddings can be accommodated at the theme park as availability allows. Contact management at info@landofoznc.com.

Overlook Barn

Perched in a meadow with panoramic views of the High Country, the rustically elegant 6,500-square-foot renovated barn is a popular spot for weddings. The Overlook Barn features 30-foot arched ceilings with exposed wood beams. The facility has high-end acid-stained concrete floors, stalls for additional event space, four bathrooms and two preparation suites for brides and grooms. There are string lights and electric outlets throughout the property to allow flexibility for all events. The Overlook Barn can accommodate 250 guests for a seated dinner. Indoor or outdoor weddings can be held here, and long-range views add to the beauty of your special day.

The property also has a smaller venue called the Cliffside Barn. This is a 1,000-square-foot rustic building with original hardwood floors, exposed-beam arched ceilings, a new 45-light chandelier, glass garage door that opens to stunning views, and large covered deck with 750 square feet of additional event space, can be used for smaller ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties or as an add-on to larger ceremonies in the Overlook Barn.

Beech Mountain Club

Clubhouse
The striking views from the upscale dinning room (featuring a floor to ceiling glass wall), bar and terrace makes this the perfect venue for banquets, weddings, receptions, meetings, birthdays, family reunions, anniversaries, luncheons, dinners and cocktail parties.The clubhouse also features the Iron Mountain and the Mountain Gallery rooms, which are available for meetings and gatherings. At River Level, you’ll find the downstairs pub and one large (or two small) banquet room.

Elm Room
Located upstairs in the Recreation building, The Elm Room is a small meeting room (24’4” x 14’4”) w ith a conference table that will comfortably seat 12. An additional 20 people may sit around the edge of the room as well.  With a wall-mounted white-board, a sink and available coffee pots, this is the perfect space for your small to medium sized meeting.

Recreation Activity Room (RAR)
For larger conferences and gatherings, The Recreation Activity Room fits the bill. Located downstairs in the Recreation building, the spacious (34’5” x 48’6”) room features wood floors, a stone gas-log fireplace, and an operable panel wall that separates the room allowing two simultaneous functions. The windows are equipped with light-blocking shades, allowing the room to be blacked out for the use of a projector and 13 banquet and 9 card tables are available, along with 120 cushioned chairs. Meals can be prepared on a full, non-commercial kitchen, including sink, refrigerator/freezer, four-burner stove with hood, single oven, microwave, coffee pots and ice maker.

Alpen Haus
The perfect site for slope side events. Our members-only ski lodge, located at the base of Beech Mountain Resort (Ski Beech), has 16 wooden tables, vaulted ceilings, stone gas-log fireplace and big screen TVs. The facility has a full non-commercial kitchen as well as on premise restrooms.

Pavilion
Did anyone say pool party? The Pavilion is an outdoor covered area overlooking the club’s pool, with roll down flaps to protect against inclement weather. The structure also has a larger wooden deck and is adjacent to a grassy area with a fire-pit. The facility also features a kitchen and large gas grille available for use on the deck.

(The Beech Mountain Club is private; facilities are available for rent to members, and to guests sponsored by a member.)

Beech Mountain Resort

If you’re looking to hold your meetings where the action is, head to the slopes. The Beech Mountain Resort has several venues available including a glass roundhouse skybar at the top of the mountain plus The Lodge and The Tarpon Room in the Alpine Village area.

The Buckeye Recreation Center

The center offers a large, 1,800-square-foot multipurpose room with wi-fi, a projector and screen, and options for a stage and catering. There is an attached serving kitchen. It can also be partitioned off into a 900-square-foot space.

Four Seasons at Beech

Ideal for meetings and conferences, Four Seasons offers an auditorium style room, which seats 90 and a classroom style room, with conference tables, that can be sub divided into two rooms. Catering is also available.

Mile HighTavern

Gather round the outdoor 20-foot long fire bar or meet indoors in one of four areas in the facility. There is also a small stage, dance floor, state-of-the-art sound system, audio-visual and light show equipment. Meetings from 6-80 can be accommodated and meals are available.

Pinnacle Inn Resort

The resort offers meeting space for up to 90 participants in the recently renovated and expanded conference room with a stone fireplace, a podium, screen and WiFi.

Top of the Beech Inn

The inn offers two meeting spaces available for rent on a daily or hourly basis. The large conference room can accommodate up to 120 people and includes a podium, projector and screen as well as internet access. For smaller groups, the Moose Lounge sits up to 48 people.
