(2 miles roundtrip, easy) An old roadbed that is perfect for a pleasant woodlands walk on Beech Mountain without navigating roots and rocks. It begins at Pinnacle Ridge Road near Buckeye Recreation Area and ends at Grassy Gap Creek Trail. To extend your hike, turn left or right onto Grassy Gap Creek Trail. It’s perfect for hiking, biking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
