The Watauga River flows through the property offering up close riverside seating and serene views whether you’re lounging in one of the Adirondack chairs, taking shade under the cabana or enjoying a family get together at picnic tables.
Located at an elevation of 3,300 feet, the winery overlooks the profile of Grandfather Mountain. The distinctive terroir, including the challenging level of elevation, creates a flavor profile unlike any other in the grapes grown here. The Appalachian High Country, only recently recognized as an American Viticulture Area (AVA) in 2016, allows for a surprisingly high quality of wines.
