Independence Day Celebration & 54th Annual Hog Roast

Families are invited to enjoy a variety of activities, including inflatables, face painting, balloon creations by Twist the Balloon Man and the return of the 54th Annual Hog Roast – considered by many to be the best BBQ in the High-Country. The Hog Roast is a fundraiser event organized by the Beech Mountain Chamber of Commerce and tickets will be sold directly by the chamber. Ticket sales information will be provided closer to the closer to the event. The celebration will begin at 5 pm and continue until 9 pm and feature live music from the Thurston Howell Band. DJ Pete Welter will also keep the energy high with additional tunes throughout the event. A dazzling fireworks display at dusk will provide a spectacular finale to the celebration.
