Winter ski slopes transform into an exhilarating summer mountain biking terrain for all experience levels. The Beech Mountain Resort summit is exclusively accessible via a chairlift, offering a scenic ride to the top before your downhill adventure begins. The downhill Bike Park is open Thursday-Sunday in late May through early October (dates vary each season).
Purchase lift tickets at Ski Beech Sports in the resort village. Beginner trails feature manageable features that introduce novice riders to the mountain. The advanced terrain delivers steep slopes, rocky sections, tricky corners, and technical wooden descents, providing the perfect challenge for seasoned riders. Lesson packages are designed to help riders of all levels. They have an on-site bike shop and high-quality mountain bikes for rent, as well as all the protective gear you’ll need for a safe and thrilling ride.
Please remember that mountain biking on the resort property without a valid lift ticket is considered trespassing. Self-shuttling is not allowed, and there are no drop-off or parking options available at the summit.
