Boone is the largest town in our area and home to Appalachian State University with many sporting events, epic football and concerts. The charming and busy downtown is full of shops, restaurants, breweries, galleries, art museum, theatre and more. Parking is always free on Sundays, after 5 pm, and on holidays.
For a more leisurely scenic drive to Boone, drive through Valle Crucis, home to the orginial Mast General Store, or drive up the Blue Ridge Parkway. (22 miles from Beech Mtn, 40-minute drive)
