Each race will be at a different location within Beech Mountain town limits and will offer a short course (1-2 miles) and a long course (3-4 miles). DESCRIPTION:Looking to improve your mountain bike skills? Learn basic mountain bike skills to more advanced riding techniques and have a great time while doing it! Our certified Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association (PMBIA) coaches are engaging and will work with each rider to enhance their biking experience. This mountain camp is designed for riders looking to not only improve their skills but to grow their confidence and join our growing bike community from an early age. The camp is for riders ages 6-13. All riders must have a good working condition mountain bike. No bikes with coaster brakes allowed. Riders will be expected to ride 5-10 miles daily on mountainous terrain. Riders MUST have a solid understanding of riding a bike and are willing to ride all trails for camp. Trails chosen are age appropriate\, but riders will be encouraged to ride more difficult terrain. Mountain Bike Camp runs from 9am-1pm Monday-Friday. $150/rider. The price includes a camp T-shirt .
